The scenery contextualizes sequences that take place in a city dominated by the plague. Its mobile character allows not only for the quick rearrangement of the stage, but further helps establish the proper rhythm intended by the director. The scaffolding's height variation lets the public perceive the hierarchy that exist among characters, indicating who is in power at each moment on the play. |
